Account memory for sales teams | In Parallel

Use case · Sales

Every account keeps its history, whoever picks it up next.

Deal context lives in calls, threads and the account executive’s head. In Parallel picks it up from the discovery calls, the demos and the deal channel, and keeps one memory per account that the whole deal team and their AI tools work from.

The problem

Where deals lose context

01

Before every call the AE rebuilds the account from memory, a CRM record and whatever notes they managed to take.

02

The SE hears the technical requirement, the AE hears the budget, and nobody has both in one place.

03

An account changes hands and the new owner inherits a CRM record without what was actually promised.

04

Each rep’s AI drafts the follow-up from nothing, because it was not on the call.

How it works with In Parallel

One account, one memory

01

Capture

Discovery calls, demos, pricing conversations, the deal channel in Slack or Teams and the account thread in Outlook. Nobody has to write it up for the record to exist.

02

Structure

Commitments made to the buyer, objections and how they were answered, the people involved, next steps and risks.

03

Serve

The account workspace publishes as an MCP endpoint. The AE, the SE and the sales manager read it in Claude, Copilot or ChatGPT alongside the CRM, each scoped to the accounts they work on.

In practice

What this looks like on a Tuesday

  1. Account executive

Before the second call, the AE opens Claude and asks:

What did their security lead object to last time, and what did we say we would send?

    Answered from the account record.

  2. Solutions engineer

The SE drafts the solution outline in Copilot with the account workspace connected. It already knows the integration the buyer asked about on the demo.

  3. Sales manager

In the pipeline review, the manager reads the open commitments on each late-stage deal instead of asking every rep to recall them.

  4. In Parallel

When the account moves to a new owner, they ask for its history and get every commitment still open, not a forwarded email chain.

The objection

Why not just the CRM?

The CRM holds the fields someone remembered to fill in. The commitment lives in the call, the objection in the thread. In Parallel captures that layer and reads alongside the CRM; it does not write into it. Customer data is hosted in the EU, never trains a model, and is visible only to the people on the account.
